John Soko is a public health researcher with a background in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He holds a Master of Science Public Health (MPH) and is currently pursuing doctoral degree in Epidemiology with research focused on infectious disease modelling, biosafety, and global health security in Zambia. His research interests include disease surveillance systems, health systems strengthening, and the application of statistical and AI-driven methods in public health. He has experience working with national-level datasets such as the Zambia Demographic and Health Survey and ZNPHI surveillance data. His work aims to inform evidence-based policy and improve health outcomes in resource-limited settings.
