Bijetri is an Assistant Professor at the Azim Premji University, Bangalore, India. She has over a decade of experience in applied microeconomics, with a focus on evaluating health and social policies and large-scale events on the wellbeing of women and children across global contexts. She also conducts research in health economics, with an emphasis on private healthcare provision. She previously held research positions at UCLA and the Harvard Chan School of Public Health. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Washington, a MA in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and a BA in Economics from Jadavpur University.
