2nd Edition of Public Health World Conference (PHWC) 2026

Scientific Sessions

Primary Health Care

As part of the Public Health World Conference 2026 (PHWC), primary care services will be a focus as a critical component of health systems. It will highlight preventative services and early intervention for diseases through community health programs and increasing access to primary care services (PHWC 2026).

As anticipated at PHWC 2026, the global health community has an opportunity to share new strategies, policies, and community-based approaches to advocate for equitable health outcomes and improve the quality of primary care services.

Enhancing pregnancy outcomes, reducing infant mortality and empowering front-line clinicians, Maternal Health Conference revolutionizes global maternal healthcare standards.

During this session, we will discuss new approaches to delivering primary healthcare, such as integrated care systems, digital solutions, and community-led initiatives to improve access to healthcare. We will also cover how primary care providers manage chronic conditions, provide health education, and help ensure patients continue to receive services (continuity of care). We will share examples of successful primary healthcare reform implementation through various locations. The breakthroughs made by the best researchers and health practitioners will be revealed by them at the Epidemiology Conference 2026, and these can aid in stopping diseases. In addition, we will work towards building capacity among the primary care workforce, improving primary care infrastructure, and using technology to address gaps in the delivery system. By collaborating and exchanging knowledge, the session's goal is to increase the effectiveness, inclusiveness, and resilience of primary care systems around the world.

Primary healthcare services are the steppingstone of any healthcare system. This is the bare minimum healthcare system which are essential and should be accessible to the communities. It mainly focuses on health promotion, preventive healthcare, and early intervention with the goal to address the fundamental requirement in healthcare. Primary healthcare providers offer a variety of services that include routine checkups, vaccinations, and treatment of diseases. Primary healthcare should be implemented by every nation by embracing equality and accessibility enhancing the quality of life of individuals.
