Health Services Management

The Public Health World Conference (PHWC) 2026 will host a Health Services Management session that will examine how we plan, organize, and deliver (or meet requirements) health services. Some of the topics covered will include:

1. Leadership (in), resources, and providing quality health care;
2. Operational efficiency of the healthcare system; and
3. Modifying healthcare workforce management.

Participants will gain insight from subject matter experts in PHWC 2026 as they discuss (emerging) management practices, policies, and/or technologies aimed at improving the delivery of healthcare services while strengthening the health system as a whole to achieve better patient outcomes. An excellent chance for local authorities and health practitioners is available at the Community Health Conference. In this session, participants will have the opportunity to discuss current issues, challenges, and trends related to effectively and efficiently operating digital health systems, the importance of developing a workforce capable of meeting patient needs, and collaborative programs that bring healthcare administrators, researchers, and policymakers together to improve the effectiveness and accessibility of healthcare services.

The session will also focus on innovative leadership approaches, data-driven decision-making, and the adoption of advanced health information systems to streamline operations and improve service delivery. Discussions will highlight strategies for optimizing resource allocation, reducing costs, and maintaining high standards of care. Participants will examine real-world examples of successful health service management models implemented across different regions. Emphasis will be placed on fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, strengthening governance frameworks, and promoting continuous quality improvement. By encouraging knowledge sharing and innovation, this session aims to build more resilient, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare systems globally.
