Tobacco and Alcohol

The Tobacco & Alcohol session of the Public Health World Conference 2026 focuses on the impact of tobacco & alcohol on global health. The research includes addiction research and prevention strategy development, policy guideline creation, and public health intervention assessment, which shows their effect on reducing tobacco and alcohol-related health issues.
 
The PHWC 2026 will feature experts presenting evidence-based interventions to develop community-level solutions to reduce tobacco and alcohol consumption. Experts will work together to develop a solution that will create a healthier community.
 
Developing innovative birth practices, maternal excellence and midwife education, Midwifery Conference Miami 2026 connects world's most renowned healthcare voices.
 
In addition to highlighting the emergence trends of e-cigarette usage among youth and youth-directed advertisements and the social determinants of substance use, participants will have discussions on the necessity of early intervention/prevention methods, awareness campaigns, and strict regulations to limit availability and exposure to these substances. In addition, participants will discuss how health care providers, schools, and government can work together to effect behavioral change. Participants will review successful models of intervention from across the world through use of case studies. More than 80 countries' doctors and researchers are coming to the Public Health Conference Singapore to share innovative concepts that set the new direction for the health of the whole world. Furthermore, participants will explore how to collaborate across sectors to support the development of sustainable solutions. Ultimately, the goal of this session is to create platforms for dialogue and creativity that support global initiatives focused on reducing the burden of disease caused by the use of tobacco and alcohol.
 
Tobacco use pose a very serious issue worldwide as major public health. Consumption of tobacco in any form like chewing or smoking exposes one with dangerous harmful substances such as toxin that can be carcinogen in nature. This can have devastating health effects. Various efforts like awareness camp can have positive effect in addressing the issue and safeguarding people’s wellbeing. Alcohol is also one of the major threats to human health and has affected millions of people worldwide. Alcohol consumption has led to many serious health hazards especially on organs. It affects mainly liver and may result in liver cirrhosis a chronic disease that can be fatal. Various efforts are made by the government organization by running awareness camps for enriching people with the knowledge about ill effects of alcohol.
