Scientific Sessions

Elderly Health

In addition, a session on Elderly Health at the Public Health World Conference (PHWC) 2026 will discuss how a strong, healthy, and active life among seniors can be promoted, as well as how their quality of life can be enhanced. This will include age-related diseases and injuries, senior care services, mental health issues, and ways to make health care services more accessible for seniors.

Innovative care options in health care, prevention, and community resources that can help seniors play a more active role in the workforce and lead strong, healthy, and independent lives will be discussed in a health care session at PHWC 2026.

Digital technologies and assisted-living solutions related to integrated care models and geriatric health care management will be discussed during this session. Digital health solutions can help support the rapidly growing aging population with prevention, better identification of issues before they occur, and the planning of long-term care. It is our goal to increase the value of older adults’ lives by addressing the multiple complexities of their health care needs. Participants will identify successful models or policies intended to support active aging and to support social inclusion for all older adults. Specific topics include assisting family caregivers, creating age-friendly environments, and building community engagement through collaboration and knowledge sharing to enhance global aging populations through better health, increased independence, and improved quality of life.

Elderly health is a very important aspect of public health for old individuals. It involves various factors like mental, physical, and social that are key to living smooth life in later years. Elderly healthcare involves active participation of patient in regular exercise followed by changes in lifestyle habits along with dietary habits. A routine check up should be scheduled every month to monitor the health of elderly people.
