2nd Edition of Public Health World Conference (PHWC) 2026

Scientific Sessions

Advances in International Vaccine Development and Distribution

The Advances in International Vaccine Development and Distribution session of the PHWC 2026 conference focuses on current developments in vaccine research and development, as well as global mechanisms for delivering vaccines to the public. This includes new vaccine technologies, trials, regulatory strategies, and strategies to enhance vaccine distribution worldwide.

During the PHWC 2026 conference, experts will discuss how the world can work together to make vaccine distribution fairer. There will also be a focus on new approaches to vaccine delivery to enhance the effectiveness of immunization programs. There will be a spotlight on how to increase vaccine uptake and prepare for the next pandemic.

The session will further look into innovations such as mRNA vaccines, next-generation delivery systems, and optimising the cold chain as a means to ensure vaccines get to even the most isolated populations. There will also be discussions about the importance of global partnerships, funding mechanisms and policy frameworks to help strengthen equitable access to vaccines. Participants will look at successful immunisation campaigns and insights from recent global health emergencies. There will also be a focus on addressing vaccine hesitancy through active engagement with communities, and transparent communication will be a significant component. In addition, there will be discussions about the use of digital technologies to track distribution and monitor coverage. Participants will be encouraged to collaborate with governmental and pharmaceutical industry representatives, and international organisations. The overall objectives of the session will be to foster innovation and promote collaboration to build global readiness and resilience to future infectious disease threats.

Vaccines are among the most effective public health interventions, but access is still unequal. This Public Health World Conference (PHWC)session will examine progress in vaccine research, production, and fair distribution. Specialists will debate the contribution of public-private partnerships to the scale-up of immunization programs. Successful global vaccination campaigns and lessons learned from recent pandemics will be presented through case studies. Participants will hear about how to address vaccine hesitancy and disinformation. The meeting will also touch on the potential of new vaccine technologies to drive preparedness for future outbreaks.
